AIIA’s Study Center, launched in the Summer of 2004, is located just off Route 15 in Monson, Maine, right on the shores of Lake Hebron.
The facility itself was formerly an old Swedish Lutheran church, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its library, media resources, and programs are available to skeptics and believers alike. Appalachian Trail hikers and vacationers are welcome to stop by for coffee. Lectures, services, and special events at the Study Center are posted on the News & Events page of AIIA’s web site. Plan to visit us sometime soon. |

FAITH MATTERS is a monthly meeting sponsored by AIIA during which we examine worldviews, belief systems, and a wide variety of issues related to matters of life and truth — all through the lens of Christian apologetics. This event typically features lectures, resource reviews, and conversation geared for thinking adults and senior teens. FAITH MATTERS is open to the public. There is no admission charge. Participation is welcomed but not required. No one will be made to feel uncomfortable by being pressured to contribute to the discussion. Light refreshments are often provided.
FEATURED THIS MONTH: In this session we intend to review a Great Courses DVD on Judaism (taught by Professor Isaiah M. Gafni) which will address such topics as: Jewish sacred literature, Jewish worship, Jewish observances, and more.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: All topics are subject to change up to one week before the event, as circumstances warrant. Check to verify the topic within the final six days preceding the date of the program.
